Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale bate em uma picape da Nissan e a joga sobre um Subaru

Poucos supercarros têm o som, presença na estrada e carisma do Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, conhecido como a iteração da série focada em pistas. Infelizmente, um exemplo primitivo do modelo foi severamente danificado ontem em Melbourne, na Austrália, depois que o motorista perdeu o controle e bateu em uma picape.

A extensão dos danos no Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale foi captada em fotos e vídeos partilhados no Instagram pelo jornalista Jaqueline Felgate. No entanto, uma imagem mais clara do incidente foi fornecida por 7 Notícias Austráliaque divulgou uma filmagem de CCTV do acidente.

A Ferrari vermelha estava cruzando a Punt Road quando o motorista perdeu o controle de repente por razões desconhecidas. Após desviar, o supercarro colidiu com um veículo todo-o-terreno nissan navara que estava esperando no trânsito do outro lado da estrada. A diferença de altura entre os dois veículos fez com que a Ferrari funcionasse como uma rampa, lançando a picape em uma velha Subaru Impreza hatchback que se movia lentamente ao lado dele.

Felizmente, todos os motoristas e passageiros envolvidos no acidente conseguiram sair sem ferimentos graves. No entanto, tanto a Ferrari quanto o Impreza sofreram danos significativos. A frente da Ferrari, incluindo o para-choque, para-lama, capô, para-brisa e partes internas foram completamente destruídas e os airbags foram acionados. Apesar disso, o dano parece ser reparável, pois o motor central e a carroceria não parecem ter sido afetados. No entanto, devido à idade e raridade do veículo, o proprietário pode esperar uma conta de reparo substancial da Ferrari e uma longa espera até que o carro esteja em condições de rodar novamente.

Algumas horas antes do acidente, a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale foi vista em South Yara, parecendo imaculada. O proprietário deve ser um grande fã do marca Maranellojá que sua coleção inclui um SF90 Spider, um 812 Competizione e um 488 Pista, ao lado de várias superbikes.

O Desafio Stradale é uma versão mais leve e potente do 360 Modena padrão, com um escapamento muito mais alto e uma configuração focada na pista, com potência proveniente de um V8 de 3,6 litros naturalmente aspirado avaliado em 419 hp (313 kW / 425 PS) e 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) de torque. Embora isso possa ser menos do que um Mercedes-AMG A45 S faz hoje, era uma quantidade significativa de potência em 2000. The red Ferrari was cruising down Punt Road when the driver suddenly lost control for unknown reasons. After swerving, the supercar collided with an off-road-prepped Nissan Navara that was waiting in traffic on the opposite side of the road. The height difference between the two vehicles caused the Ferrari to act as a ramp, launching the pickup into an old Subaru Impreza hatchback that was moving slowly alongside it."

Fortunately, all drivers and passengers involved in the accident were able to walk away without serious injuries. However, both the Ferrari and the Impreza suffered significant damage. The front end of the Ferrari, including the bumper, fender, bonnet, windscreen, and internals were completely wrecked and the airbags were deployed. Despite this, the damage appears to be repairable as the mid-mounted engine and bodywork don’t appear to be affected. Nonetheless, due to the age and rarity of the vehicle, the owner can expect a substantial repair bill from Ferrari and a lengthy wait until the car is roadworthy once again."

A few hours prior to the accident, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was spotted in South Yara, looking immaculate. The owner must be a big fan of the Maranello brand, as his collection reportedly includes an SF90 Spider, an 812 Competizione, and a 488 Pista, alongside a number of superbikes."

The Challenge Stradale is a lighter and more powerful version of the standard 360 Modena, featuring a much louder exhaust and a track-focused setup, with power coming from a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V8 rated at 419 hp (313 kW / 425 PS) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque.
